I have a GT/CS vert. coming (Ordered last Monday). I was wondering how much actual HP is at the real wheels on stock. The CS comes with the power pack that claims to add 20hp to rear wheels.

Has anyone got just this option and does it help much? Just wondering if I will have any extra boost because I have a neighbor that has a 2001 Tran Am with Ram Air (6 speed) that I might want to test myself against. Does the Power pack give me any edge? My CS is also a 5 speed and I can shift okay but have been know to miss a gear before.

I have a 06 5gt and a 98 SS camaro m6.
you have zero chance against it if the driver has 1/4 of a brain.
stock, modified, whatever, the f-body has you in hp,torque, contact patch, weight.
my SS when stock, was light years faster than this 06.

i hope cai and a tune will help, but the stang has to make a major leap just to get close.

With competent drivers I'd say the T/A should pull away by 3rd gear or towards the end of the 1/4 mile is my prediciton.
