Just got back from the Vancouver Mustang Stampede show.. they had a torch red 2005 Mustang GT there. It...was....AWESOME!!!!! They drove it in with a police car leading it (Ford Crown Vic, of course) and people were cheering. Let's see, where shall I start. I sat in the car many times.. I am 6 foot 2 with size 12 feet, and I had PLENTY of room. Way more than in my '98. In fact, when I sat on the front passenger side, I stretched my legs all the way out and straightened my toes, and I was still not touching. Try that in today's car! When I sat in the driver's seat, the view out was perfect. The shifter is placed just right, your hand falls right on it naturally. I had no trouble shifting it with my back on the seat. The shift feel is very good, not notchy or difficult at all. The car was started up and revved a few times.. If you have the June 2004 Mustang Enthusiast magazine, go to page 39.. Mark Rushbrook, the Mustang development manager, was the one who drove the car and revved it. I talked to him for a few minutes. Maybe I was the only one who was wondering, but when I asked him if there would be a removable hardtop on the convertible like on the '95 Cobra, he said no. Darn it! Anyway, when he revved it, it sounded pretty good. Just as good or better than the stock 4.6 engines do now. Not to say that it couldn't sound better! But that's what Flowmasters are for. So overall I would say it is a major improvement over what we have now. Anyone who buys one will NOT be disappointed!
