2005 mustang gt 3.31 gear ????????

hi ppl

just wana ask whats the best times on the 1/4 mile runs have ppl got with there mods and there 331 stock gears ?

I think the 2005 and 2006 GTs came with a 3.55 gear stock. The '07s were the ones that came with the 3.31 stock and the 3.55 as a $100 option.

Auto's came with the 3.31 gears. I have heard mid 13's stock.

My best bone stock with my auto was 14.12@98 something....I ran it with stock tires, stock pressure, 1600 rpm drop, 80 degree weather, down here in San Antonio.

Add a JLT with a tune and that dropped to 13.83....

I've added 3.73's and something went bad with the tune and the times got worse, like mid 14's worse.

Tune seems to be resolved now and the car feels much faster, but no times yet.

I should have those and dyno numbers soon.

2005 and 2006 Automatics have 3.31 and 5 Speeds have 3.55 gears.
