Nick, I could really use your help. Recently installed Steeda CAI on my GT. It has the dreaded soft throttle problem at 2k - 3k rpm. It also has the r7 update already on my Predator. What I have been doing is advancing timing on the 2-4k segment with good results. I'm at 6% now and I'm wondering if you think I'm going about this in the right way. Steeda was absolutetly no help at all. Thank you so much for any help.

With good fuel and a watchful ear, the adjustment feels right; the adjustable range built into the Predator is safe. Remember listen for detonation when adding timing. Nothing beats a dyno, and having A/F looked at in the process will make for the best power and the safest known way to adjust calibration.

Our Revision will be released in the coming week, and all will be solved. If you can wait a few more days I think you will be very excited and have no adjusting to even think about.

The added features to Predator are going to wow many of you, and the calibration will be different in any case. What you’re doing now in tuning may be water under the bridge, this new calibration is the answer.

Thanks,
