It's made for 10lbs but I get 8lb's about 90% or the time. I have a belt slipping issue I will work out to get the full 10lbs.

The 05 seem to make good power with a poweradder. Just finished a Procharger install P1SC 10psi of boost car made 472hp on first pull. The car was pig rich still trying to get the A/F just right.

royb. Nice number.

Got any sound clips or videos? I am interested in hearing what the new stangs with 450+ hp sounds like!

The Dyno run was at 8lbs 90% of the time (being consertive) more like 98% I have a belt slipping issue so it doesn't see 10lbs of boost much. show me ANY centrifugal that put out this kind of Torque at the same RMP & i'll buy it.

Pro Mod. The 05 that I have been working is stock except for the supercharger, 39lb injector, and the mass air that procharger provide in the kit. Everything else is stock. We did not make 450lb of torque at 3000rpm our was alittle higer like 5000 or 5500 I will try to post a dyno sheet. With a complete exhaust and a few other odds and ends the car should make alittle over 500hp

any reliability problems?

How many miles have been put on your blowers? I would love to get one but I know the stock pistons and other internals are not forged. I'm worried about reliability, which is why I'm considering the paxton model. I would love over 450rwhp but I'd like to know if anyone is running into durability problems yet. Thanks guys!

I know 2 people that have over 10k on the blower with 400+RWHP no problems. A paxton can be every bit as reliable or it can blow your engine just like ANY supercharger can with a bad tune/gas/over rev./too much heat-temp.
As far as I know there are 2 prochargers with blown motors and - so far 0 Saleen with the stock set up. I like procharger and all the rest for that fact. there can be several casues for a blown motor - something like a part got past quality at Ford the supplier when it should not have. (Never buy a car made on Monday or Friday)

I have 6k mile with the Saleen Blower on the car with 15k total - & I drive it like I stole it!

So I could bring my car over 470 rwhp and not worry about blowing the motor so long as the tune is good (and my car wasn't built on a mon/fri, heheh)? Do you guys know if the new shelby gt500 is running forged internals or does it have the same block as our GTs? I think I read somewhere that it had a bigger displacement. I'd love to get the procharger, but I have the BMR strut tower brace and from pics i think the intake of the blower would not fit under those bars. Hence, I may just stick with vortech or paxton. Oh, and do the intercoolers by cooling the air help keep the internals safer or is it just for plainly more hp??

no it doesnt put down mor toque as low .. but thats what gears are for..

the only thing all that torque does is allow you to pass without shifting down..

the secon you down shift and brign the revs above-4000 where they will be the rest of the time you are on it.. the centri has the lead power wise.

dont get me wrong the roots style blowers are great in that they simply make the car feeel like its got a huge torquey engine but they arent as fast pound for pound boost wise as a centri car.

????

But what about the pistons, heads, etc.? Does the intercooler make the motor more reliable and safe under daily use on top of some extra power?? I assume the blower will have a diablo tune that came with the package.

the intercooler cools the incoming HOT compressed air. heat is bad for power. if you are looking at a supercharger for the long term, spend the extra $$ to get forged internals, or at least start saving for when it goes boom. the GT500 had forged internals. there is a good story about it on the stangnet homepage.

impressive numbers...i just have a question...if ford supposely kept the rear axle as apposed to an independant rear for drag racing customers (and to lower the stang cost) why didnt they put in forged pistons.

it was not for drag racing customers..

it was becuase the benifit of a independant rear end is marginal over a properly setup solid axle.

[ do not listen to the irs snobs who say it isn't.. irs cars get whooped by solid axle mustangs in almost every road racing class that mustangs are allowed in ]

and the fact that a all new independant rear setup would siginificantly raise the price of the car.

Very nice power numbers. I just wonder how long that engine will last on 8-10 psi with all stock internals. I know a good tune helps but b/c of the damn emissions codes these engines were built too they don't seem to handle too much boost for too long. I heard a guy on another forum saying he blew up his stock internal engine running 9 psi.

If we tell you that you bought the best gear and have the best power adder and stroke you just so, will you let the rest of us enjoy ourselves?
