Hey, just wanted to let you guys know i saw a 2005 mustang gt in legend lime drive by while i was at work last night over in orleans/cumberland. Let me tell you this is hot car Every guy in the store practically ran to the window to get a better look! Car still had dealership stickers in the windows so either someone was out having a test drive or they had just bought it. Shouldn't be too long now before they start popping up all over the place.

Anyone else have any run ins with any 05's yet?

Makes me think how well the marketing strategy worked for this car With that said, I take a detour every day to see if the new 05's are in. Nothing yet, besides the Ford 500 and freestar...

Man what a bad time of year in Ottawa to be introducing this car, rain, snow ice all kinds of sh-t!
I for one can hardly wait to put my 96 away on November 20.
I am sure the dealers receiving these cars in Ottawa would be happy to unload at sticker or less right now.

Where in Orleans? I have been checking by the dealerships (Jim Keay, Campbell) to see if they have any in lately. I don't like how they look in pics, but I'm told they look better in person so I want to check it out.

It was over near Innes and Tenth in the Loeb parking lot when i saw it. Me and my buddies where gonna snap a quick pic of it but it stopped behind a car and then turned so we didn't get a chance to take the pic. As for hearing it i was indie at the time so i couldn't listen to it. Car looks much more agressive then i thought it would from what i saw in pictures! I love it!

I went to check my first 05 today. I actually touched it Didnt drive it though..It was already sold. At that dealership, there were three 05's. (2) V6 , one grey and one red, and a really nice red GT, in the showroom. Its sold but the asking price was 38000$$. I looked at the engine and it's kinda missing something. Looks plain. The interior looks nice but there's a lot of plastic everywhere. Red interior also. Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know..

I went over to Jim Keay Ford tonight, and the Lime Green GT is in their showroom. They also have 1 Redfire GT(35k), 1 Silver GT(36k), and 1 Redfire V6(31k). I was told not to judge them until I saw them in person. I still think they are not very nice looking, IMO 99-04 is way better.

Are your numbers in brackets the prices?
If so what was so special about their '6', I've been to 3 dealers in the last two days and none of the sixes were over $24,000???
The '05 are damn sharp looking 'Stangs, and when I win the lottery and can afford one and keep my'00 3.8 as well I will, because I think these two models are tops in looks!!

Hi Flyboy,

The price for the V6 was $30,850 MSRP. It had Auto trans, upgraded rims, leather, shaker 500, and probably some other minor things I am forgetting. It was a pretty nice looking car.

BTW, what does your car look like? I might have seen you around before.

Campbell, Kanata and Sterling Ford in Ottawa both have small numbers in stock and are asking full list right now. My question is who in there right mind would buy one right now with the weather change in Ottawa?
Trust me in the early summer of 2005 there will be lots of availability and you will not have to pay list!
V6's seem to start at about $25 K, GT's about $34.5 K.
Do yourself a favour before you buy and check with your insurance company for rates. I made a quick call and a 2005 GT will just about double the rate over my 96GT and I am an old guy.
Yes I would like a new RED on RED 2005 GT, I for one like them but have yet to drive one.
As always just my thoughts!
