Roush 2005 Roush Mustang Registry

Quick question...do the side window louvers come off easily? I will be ceramic coating my 2005 coupe soon and thought maybe it would be a little better and more thorough if i take the louvers off before coating it. i see there are a few tiny allen head screws but i'm not sure what they attach to or how hard they might be to get back on?
Side louvers are held on with double sided tape, alan heads are for looks, should come off fairly easy, the fun part is cleaning up the double sided tape

I recently picked up a Black 05 Roush, combing through this post maybe it isn't one on you list already, vin 1ZVFT82H755174013, roush sn 05-0565. I look to be the 5th owner, 33k miles, super clean. Looks to be a stage 1 but still need to contact roush (on my to do list). Has the S1 gas cap, wheels, dash plate, gauges have thrown me a little from what I have seen, they are silver faced, light up red when turning car on, light up green when lights are on.

I have enjoyed reading through this post and all you have collected.

I already ceramic'd the car but good to know in case I ever need to take them off. I was figuring it would be better to coat it with them off and give everything a good cleaning while I had them off. Thanks
In case you were curious what it looks like underneath, I took mine off for the first time today to clean it up

Hi, I will check my list on your car in a few days, I am currently remote for a few days. Yours has the correct gas cap emblem, i.e. the non-italic font "1". And thanks for the admins for policing this thread as its only about the Roush 2005 registry.

I did reach out to roush and they have confirmed it is an authentic Stage 1, but that was it. I was hoping I might get lucky and be able to get a new faux gas cap as mine is pitting/some chrome coming up but they said it is discontinued which was somewhat what I expected.

I just looked up my info on your car 05-0565 all I can tell you is your cars build date is 03/25/05. This was a popular day as 43 cars were built. 10 of the 43 were Stage 1s the rest were sports. On your S1 gas cap - Try bar keeps friend it's a powder and works well on chrome. Many parts are not available so you'll have to restore yours. Also do you have the white roush decal on the back glass? Not sure if those are still available.

Thank you! Both decals were on it when I got it, but looked likely to be original with the way they were semi disintegrating and faded. I have since replaced front and back.

Noted on the bar keepers friend. I have some ideas for the winter on trying to make a replica.....we shall see

Anyone here going to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle in a couple of weeks? We will be there with both of our Roush's and a friend is taking his red 2010 427R. We will be in the Roush section. Stop by and say hi if any of you are going. I'm also still looking for Roush floormats and the 2005-20?? RR03 18" Roush wheels if you have a set.

Went to Carlisle over the weekend. Took both cars. The trip was nice. 500 miles round trip in each car. Overall I wasn't that impressed but still glad we went. For what we spent I didn't feel it was worth it. But I did put my coupe on the dyno. Definitely not impressed with the results. The coupe has a 4.6 with hot rod cams, FRPP intake and throttle body, Steeda CAI, JBA short tube headers and was supposedly dyno tuned. When I got the car the tuner and dyno sheets were gone so I have been running 93 in it assuming it had a 93 tune. Guessing it does not...lol. 308.7 HP @ 6340 RPM. It sounded like it was still pulling when it hit the limiter though. But I talked to the SCT guy and he said his thoughts were that whoever had the car put the weakest tune back in it then unmarried the tuner and kept it. So not real sure but now I'm in search of a tuner...lol.
What I noticed was very little foot traffic in the Roush section. The row we were in was only about 1/2 full with lots of empty spaces. Also, not much Roush activity there. They had a very small tent set up with stickers they were handing out. I didn't see any Roush merchandise anywhere on site or at their tent. It was supposed to be their 50 year celebration but I think they had the smallest display there of any vendor or company.
