Let me clarify. Roush did batches of cars from Ford. These batches could be anywhere from 1 to 100+ cars at a time with sequential VIN numbers. So they got batches of cars in all the time throughout the year. Yours was in a batch of 45. Your batch had 17 blue cars (I can only verify that 3 for sure were sonic blue, but I suspect most of the 17 were). All told there are supposed to be for 2005 a total of 330 blue roush mustangs of which 247 were sonic and 83 were windviel blue. I have not verified this overall split and I actually believe it may be 331 total blue mustangs.

Just to give you an idea, starting with the earliest cars first:
batch 1 - ~50 mustangs (december 2004) 115450 - 115499
batch 2 - ~40 mustangs (december 2004) 119207 - 119246
batch 3 - ~30 mustangs (december 2004) 123500 - 123529
batch 4 - ~30 mustangs (january 2005) 127743 - 127772
batch 5 - ~40 mustangs (january 2005) 132913 - 132952
batch 6 - ~40 mustangs (january 2005) 141191 - 141230
batch 7 - ~20 mustangs (january 2005) 142552 - 142571
batch 8 - ~1 mustang (march 2005) 146700
batch 9 - ~100 mustangs (february 2005) 148056 - 148157

batches keep going til you get to about 2050 or so.

So batches vary you get the idea. I can tell by your VIN if you have a real roush or not. Another way is if it lacks the white faced gages that is a big tell tale sign it is not a real roush. Although some of the earlier VIN numbered cars lack the white faced gages so it is possible to have the stock black gages (I'm guessing maybe a 50 total cars came without white gages) and of that I would say 90% of those would be the earlier cars (hence they would have forklift holes) so if you run across one without forklift holes and black gages I would almost bet it is not a real roush. Just got to do the research, because with these cars there are exceptions.

Gotcha. Still not a lot, but more than just a very few. Very cool that someone's tracking that.

Hello all, sorry I have been off this forum for quite some time. Good news is the list after all these years is very far along. The last forklift mustang is unknown as 05-1171 has forklift holes and 05-1176 does not. If your car was built after the middle of May 2005, good chance you don't have forklift holes.

Fun fact: the Roush part number was 401439 and the cost was $124 or so ( lowest I found was $114) for the kit to convert or repair your fork lift holes. The part has not been available for over 7 years. I kick myself for not snatching them up back then.

Another fun fact: vista blue replaced sonic blue in 2006. You can tell the difference especially if you line up the two cars next to each other!

I still have my non- forklift sonic blue mustang #1662 with 16,400 miles.

Maybe one day I can become the Kevin Marti or Galen Govier of forklift holed Roush mustangs! Ha ha.

Awesome, one of the first ones built in December 2004.
What mods have been done?

I show this G2 redfire sport originally equipped with the stock leather interior, did you swap to the Roush leather? Build date of 12/22/04. Last 3 VIN digits 237. Are you the original owner?

Your car's birthday is 3/25/05, production date. There were 42 cars with that birthday (various colors). Overall you are 1 of 53 black Stage 1 cars, There are 372 total black cars, and of those 2 are stage 2 cars, so the majority of them are sports.
verify the number after the "H" in your VIN if you could. Will be from 0-9 or could be an X.

one of my favorite colors- mineral gray. Thanks for the info and welcome. Heres what I've been up to lately, yes a 2007 Ford navigation system in my 2005 Roush Sport! And the IUP switches ( not hooked up to anything yet).

Your car is #177 and the production date was 2/1/05 with a build date of 2/7/05. One of 7 cars built that day,
There are supposed to be 2060 Mustangs for 2005. I have 2050 of them. I'm not sure that there are really 2060 of them and believe my number (2050) is more accurate.
