How in the XXXXX do you get the door panels off? (I took out the screws that go along the edge of the door then popped off the center panel and removed a screw, there has to be more.

And how do you get the rear speakers out?

Thanks!

The speaker grill come off the back dash by carefully prying up on them.
The speakers are held down by phillips screws which are easily removed using a swivel screwdriver.
As for the door panels, there are hidden screws by the front edge of the window, and underneath the area where you pull the door with your hand.
Just take your time, and you should be able to figure it out.

I just made a pretty detailed post about this topic in the tech forum. I hope it helps. http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=615903 The key with the door panels is making sure you remove all 9 hex head screws and the 2 star head screws. The star head screws are hidden behind panels, one behind a piece of plastic behind the door-opening handle and the other underneath the elbow rest. There is also a hex head screw under the elbow rest. In addition, there are 2 traingular notches on the bottom of the door panel that fit into holes in the door. You have to lift up and pull back pretty firmly on the door panel to get these notches free, but be sure you've unscrewed everything before you do it.

A few notes:

There is a flat piece of plastic in the cup behind the door latch lever, you need to push that rear and then pry out, do not try and remove the entire cup.

The plastic piece that houses the window controls comes out, pry it out, straight away from door.

How did you guys get access to the rear speakers? How does the cover come up? Also, which wire is + / -? I have some kenwood speakers from my other mustang I want to install.
