2006 Roush Shifter install

Before I purchased my shifter I looked all over the net for before and after pics. Since I couldn't find any I decided to make my own. If any one is interested go to http://www.henderson-racing.com/Roush/Before-After.htm and check them out.

As for the shifter it's awesome (that is if you like an extremely short throw and clicks into gear). It feels like what I would think an indy car shifter would feel like. I have had a few mustangs over the years with aftermarket shifts but none have felt like this one.

BTW if anyone installs a new shifter in their 05 or 06 the easiest way I found to get the stock one out is to move the part of the shifter that bolts to the transmission toward the front of the car then work the back of the shifter up through the floor. The instructions say it will drop out front the bottom but I didn't see any easy way to remove it from the bottom but going through the floor was very painless. But the Roush shifter is much less bulky on the sides than the stock one so it will slip into place with no problem.
