Hi all. I bought a Haynes manual today (no help)and googled for more than 3 hours trying to find what needs to be done to remove the heater hoses from the firewall. I want to replace all the hoses. I have a 06 V6. Thanks for any help.
My manual says press the plastic tabs (retainers) on the heater core pipes to release the hose fittings. Remove the plastic retainers from the pipes and discard them use new retainers for installation

Thanks DerekG. My concern was getting my hand in there to release the tabs. After studying awhile I think I can remove the coil pack and get my hand through there. I have the V6. Thanks for responding.
