I am looking to get long tube headers and was wondering what else I need to maximize power gains from them I am currently straight piped was wondering if i needed an X pipe or Mid and or a retune
Depends on who's doing the email tune. Just avoid BAMA and go with either Brenspeed, Lito, or Lund. If you have the ability to datalog, the tune can be modified if required and it would cost a lot less time/money than a dyno tune, especially if your nearest dyno tuner is far away. The latter would be preferred for any N/A set up beyond simple bolt ons (CAI, CMDPs, LT headers) and definitely for FI.
