I was driving by a local small used car dealership and saw something that I NEVER see at used car dealerships.....an '07 GT 500.I stopped to take a look and just to see what the asking price was. It was completely stock and had just over 5k miles on it. It was absolutely immaculate. They were asking $36k for it. If I was serious about buying it I could have gotten it for $34k. Then, 2 days later I was driving by another small dealership and saw what looked to be the same car....same year, same color.....and I thought that the dealerships were affiliated, and that they just moved the car. But then I noticed that it had rear window deletes, different wheels, and a different exhaust. I stopped to look and they were asking $33,800 for this one. It had 11,000 miles on it, but it had quite a few mods done to it. Smaller pullies for the supercharger, headers and full exhaust, C&L Racer, etc. It is putting down over 600RWHP. They also had all of the original parts for it. I figure that I could get it for right at $30K. MAN it was SOOO tempting With my trade and some cash down, my payments wouldn't be that much more. BUT I just don't know about having a 600HP GT500 for a D/D.....plus the insurance would be a real killer Maybe one day......but my ultimate wish would be for the new GT350 or a BOSS if I were to buy a special edition 'stang. And the money spent on one of those could make my plain jane GT a real beast. Plus half (or more) of the fun for me is modding the car myself and being proud of what I have built
