I hope you did this speed run on a track versus the public road where you endanger everyone else around you.

Wow whats with all the Ralph Naders here?? He didn't ask for driving tips.

145, electronically limited, swiftly removed with the SCT tuner. Verified on a public highway thank you. And so some of you don't whine, late and empty.

So a guy posts a question asking if the 145MPH top speed was limited by computer or drag and you can somehow interpret that to mean that he was looking for driving advice? Really?!

You're correct, I don't have my 5.0 yet; it's supposed to be built on 18-October.

For the record, I probably won't ever hit the top speed. I was inquiring because the 2011 GT-500 has a top speed of 155 and wondered why the 5.0 was "only" 145.
