I remember reading a thread a while back of a possible 600+hp Hennessey tuned 5.0 Mustang. Does anyone know if this is still going on? I like Hennessey Performance and what they do with cars, I just wish they worked on Mustangs. I think the new 412hp Coyote is worthy of having the Hennessey name slapped on.

Anyone elses thoughts?

They work on them They are just like any shop and will badge cars with their name if they feel like doing so.

Thats what I thought too, but the only thing you can get from them for a '11 is a "Hennessey" CAI. There isnt an actual Hennessey Mustang

My brother called them up and asked if they could work on his Firehawk, they said they wouldnt work on it!?

I think they are mostly tuning the higher end cars as well as the new camaro/mustangs/etc.

The coyote is still a bit new so I imagine there will eventually be someone with a turbo done by them...but honestly it could be done way cheaper from other quality shops. Hennessey isn't known to be cheap by any means.

and thats true, its just paying for a name I guess, although Hennessey is a name I wouldnt mind on my window
