I've heard this too, I think its all rumors as of now, nothing official, but it would be very cool to see a new body style Mach 1, I'd be very tempted to buy one...I got no where to put the thing but I can make room, lol

+1 on the BOSS, although what would it be being the 2011 1/2 will have the 400hp Coyote 302 in the base GT..... hhmmmmmm. A nocely tuned 465HP BOSS with would be interesting.

I hope they come out with a good special edition. I'll be ready for a new car early next summer, so the question will be go with a preowned 2008 luxury sports coupe (S5/M3) or maybe save a few bucks and get the special edition mustang. I'm watching the rumors closely!

I betcha they're coming out with a Cobra model (the 5.0 engine) and Mach 1 (upgraded 4.6) in 2011.

I don't think Ford is going to drop their trademark 4.6... If they wanted to do that, they would've done so in 2010. The 2010 is sorta a cross between the new edge (99-04) and S197 platforms, so a Mach 1 and Cobra are very believable.

The Cobra will have a supercharged 5.0 engine with forged internals & probably be making... 450 hp? The Cobra will probably be in between the GT & GT500 in price & performance.

I think the Mach 1 will be in the mid 300s... Maybe around 340 with the average Ford upgrades.

We'll see.
