I just started experiencing rough idle issues on my 2012 Mustang GT. Revs drop to almost stalling, then climb back up, every few seconds. Other than when idle the car runs fine. Mods are Roush AB, Airaid CAI, and Bama tune. Appreciate your help.
Flash back to stock and see if the problem follows the reflash. If so, you know it's not tune related and then you can start looking for mechanical issues like a dirty MAF sensor or vac leaks.
Found the source of the problem. It was at of the rubber/plastic connections in the CAI. I sealed it back up, and hope it stays like that. I am not too happy about how those two parts fit together on the Airaid CAI. It is the big tube and the rubber ring with "Airaid" on it. Ironically, if I tighten the clamp too much it comes loose. I won't be blaming Airaid yet, it could be my amateur installation. If it keeps popping loose again I'll take it to a pro.
