My gf bought a brand new Fusion last year and it's spent more time in the dealership for issues then she has actually driven it. Like always the dealership can't figure it out, so I'm hoping someone on here might have some insight or have gone through this and had it properly fixed.

The left turn signal is malfunctioning, I.e., it either does not stay on longer than one flash cycle, or shuts off prematurely. The function is not being confused with the 3 flash lane change feature, this feature works 100% of the time. Premature shutting off of the turn signal typically (but not always) occurs when making a turn from a full stop. When the signal is actuated, it flashes for 10 seconds while sitting at a stop light (wheels are positioned straight ahead). When the traffic light changes and she just begins to turn the wheel, the signal shuts off. The immediate shut off issue does not happen as frequently as the premature issue, but when it does happen, She cannot get the turn signal to function for more than one flash at a time.
I did a search online and found this to be a very common issue, but can't find anyone that's been able to have it corrected.
She has not been able to get this on video, since it is intermittent, but I found a number of videos online of others having the same problem with their turn signals. (There is easily another 2 dozen videos on youtube)

Most of the other issues that we have had with the car end up being me finding a TSB or determing what the problem is then the dealership fixes it.

This issue is to the point that I had to raise it to corporate Ford because she was given a written warning for turning without signaling because her blinker woudn't turn on. Just like the dealership though, Ford is not offering the slightest bit of help.

This vehicle qualified for the lemon law 3 months into owning it, but because we didn't know to have the service department write out the issues the exact same way everytime (I'm talking down to having every comma and period in the same spot) it was being brought in, Ford declinced the request.
