Is anyone out there planning on getting a new 2013 Mustang? I’m wanting a BOSS Luguna Seca. What are your thoughts?

Boss Laguna Seca has crossed my mind and I'm a BMW M3 owner...Ford has come quite a long way.

Do you think it might be too stiff for a Daily Driver?

Will the 2013 tails fit directly into a 12 is what I'm wondering.

this is what i have been waiting for. i want a 2013 5.0, finally will be upgrading from the '04 v6.. but i would take those darned fog lights out of the upper grill and blacken the whole thing out, something more like the gt500.

however i'm going to hold out long enough to see the redesign on the 2014's. if that blows, then the '13 is what i'm picking up.

I just got done driving a Laguna Seca with the suspension dampening set to 3/5 and have found the ride to be quite comfortable. Shift action is light, quick and accurate. The clutch pedal is also easy to operate in repeated stop and go.

It would be a shame to drive a Laguna Seca as a daily driver...it's a bit more collectible than your average cookie cutter M3.

Don't get me wrong, the M3 is a great car, but the LS Boss 302 is a league above it in terms of collectibility due to the sheer rarity/niche.

it wouldnt be a shame to use it as a daily driver. the great Caroll shelby wouldnt think so. A car should be driven, not stuck in the garage covered by a sheet.

Completely agree with you. The Boss 302 is a racecar you can drive on the street legally! If you really love a car you drive and maintain it religiously, when something breaks you repair it, when the paint gets ugly, you repaint it. Never got why you would save a car so someone else can enjoy it.

I agree completly but with three kids I need a back seat. That's why I plan to get the regular Boss.

great car, depends on the situation....Myself I need 4 seats, so that one wouldn't fit my life style.

Sounds like you have a good plan, instead of replacing the grill have you considered tinting the lights

I know what you mean about the back seat, my 5.0 fits my family in it perfect for the time being since my kids are still young.....But hey when they get older that's what the SUV is for.

Which dealer is allowing people to demo a Laguna Seca?

the unresolved transmission issues kept me from buying a 2011 or 2012. with the new selectable gear auto i might be up for a 2013 since they look so stinkin hot. i gotta get something soon, my 99 ain't gonna last forever.

Being I just bought my 2012 GT ... I'm wondering what to do. Take a beating on trading it in for a 2013 BOSS or wait for the 2014 to come out and have my stang almost paid for.

i just saw that ALL the cars get the good steering wheel. we should be in a house by the time they come out so that just might be perfect timing. here's to hoping the 99 will last that long without any major repairs
