2016 Gt Thin Paint

I have a 2016 GT Ruby Red with 3,800 miles. Every time I drive the car a new paint chip pops up on either the hood (5), roof (4) or trunk lid (4). I have taken 2 road trips (300 mi round trip) and the rest of the miles are city driving of 45 mph or lower. I have a 2006 Duramax with far less paint chips and a 2014 Lexus with 2 paint chips on the bumper at 26k miles. I am seriously thinking of selling the car before it gets any worse. Anyone else have this problem?

Being that new,wouldn't it still be under a factory warranty? If so I would go to the dealer and have the paint fixed..
If @Davedacarpainter isnt busy,maybe he can shed some light on your paint issue

Before I take it to the dealer I wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem. If the dealer is just going to repaint and I have the same problems I'm not interested. t this rate, I can't imagine what my paint will look like at 10k mi.

Maybe you're driving too close to the car in front?

I have a ruby red 2015 with no problems

I also have a ruby red without any issues with this. I would've thought that the ruby red woulld be more durable then the other colors because of the tri coat.
