Hey Guys. After a solid five week wait, my razors finally came in.

I decided to wrap them in some Dunlop SP SportMaxx (255/35ZR20).

I think this is a pretty solid look for my car. I'll look to get the windows tinted and maybe some bigger breaks sometime in the near future.

If you would like some different/better pics, just let me know.

Thanks!

Looks good. I have the 18s myself. Your pics show one of the couple reasons I went with the 18s.

With this particular wheel style up close the 20s look good. But the further back you get from the car they start to look a little too huge. Like truck wheels.

But hey man, rock on. It's your car and I am not saying anything bad here. Just my comments.

Thanks Mr._Q,

You've got a great looking car too, very clean. Black was my first choice, but as luck would have it in 2005, black was so hard to come by.. I had to go with my second choice of Satin Silver.

BTW, those pictures are amazing.

Thanks guys..

Would you agree that I'd be pressing my luck if I went with a silver/mirrored tint as opposed to the traditional black tint?

Yes, don't do that. It looks retro but in the gay way. Not the cool way. And it blinds other drivers. Which you might think funny but it's not funny when they rear end you because they can't see!

Yeah, I definitely don't need any of that... I'll stick with the tried and true. Maybe a light smokey tint..

No Love for the customer.

Love the Shelby Razors in 20 inches. The 18 are nice but the 20's are perfect. I recently ordered a set of 20" Gunmetal razors from Late Model Restoration. It took two weeks for me to get them. When they arrived to dismay they sent the wrong finish and I was going to enter my first car show that weekend. I called them asap. They apologized for sending the wrong wheels, but had no sympathy for me not being able to enter the car show. I ask them if they were going to do something for me due to their mistake. The rep said we're already going to pay for the return shipping of the wrong wheels. Needless to say I was pissed. When I receive the right set I won't even glance at their ad in my mustang mags. Late Model Restoration/50resto. Oh yeah the guy hung up on me. Got a good deal on the wheels but terrible customer service.

I'm sorry to hear about that. Working in the CS business myself, I'm especially touchy when it comes to poor Service. There's really no excuse. Rudeness and hanging up on me (the customer) would be a deal-breaker..

That said, enjoy the wheels and forget who you got them from

Is there this long of a wait on all of the Razor wheels? I might have to start looking at another set of wheels if this is the case. I don't have the time to wait since I leave to go back to college pretty soon.

I did the 18's as well. It looks like your wheels stick out a bit from the fenders like mine do. Is that correct? Hard to tell from you pic, buit am curious.

Mine are flush with the fenders. I mean like exactly. That's what a +24mm offset will give you. They make +40mm offset Razors now and those will tuck under the fenders like stock.

But I don't like that look. I prefer wide and mean.

****After checking your pics it looks like you might have the +22mm offset ones? Did you get them from a American Racing dealer or online? The Shelby Razors came out after the initial Razors with a better +24mm and then ultimately the +40mm.

I know there are some knock-off Razors out there with the wrong offset for our cars (+20mm and +22mm). One's with a sticker instead of the embossed Shelby name and the bolts are totally different. It's also why those versions cost 100s less, heh. But I can't tell from yours.
