225/45-17 too narrow?

This is a pic I happened to take today - 225/45/17 on 17x8 Torq Thrust II

Pics a couple years ago (I think its the same tire). If not same tire, its a 245/45/17. I don't remember which one. If needed I can take a pic tomorrow showing sidewall of tire relative to rim face (same as third pic above)

I have 235/45/17 on 17x8 wheels and while it does fit, it just looks a bit skinny.

I run those up front. If I could go back, I’d run a 245/45/17 instead.

in the rear, I run 255/45/17 on 17x8

Doesn’t look bad at all my dilemma comes from getting a great deal on a pair of brand new toyo proxy r888r 255/40/17 $200 which normally sell for $210 a tire. To make it look right and ride even I was to get 225/45/17 for the front. If I got with 245/45/17 in the front the rear tires will be lower than the front and the car will not looks right. So I guess I need to decide if I sell the toyos or go with buying 225 for the front. I’ve been going back and forth in my head for 3 days now lol

These are the 225/45/17. Just so everyone knows, the tires were flat at this time and obviously not under load.

In looking at these, the sidewall pic of mine from above would be the 245/45/17.

Again, these are on 17x8 rims
