So far i have not done any suspension work yet however i hope to do the drop springs in the front eventually however the front springs are original and probably saggy...so will the 235/60 r15s fit on the front end?
Thank you for your time...

They will for sure with the stock steel wheels and stock ride height springs, they should with a 1" drop. I ran this size on my 67 Big block fastback with Dodge Police car wheels(15x8" with a 4" backspace), and as I recall there was plenty of room.

yes a 235/60-15 will work just fine, basically the same size as an f-60-15 which was stock on boss 302's. you just have to make sure you have the right backspace rim, if it's wrong the tires will rub the fender lip and/or the front valance. also if you have too much positive camber you could rub on the front valance, a good alignment will take care of that though.

I had them on the 69 Mach with the Magnums. Filled up the wheelwell nicely, and did not rub. I would be wary of dropping the ride height.

Depending upon the bs I would think he would be fine with a 1" drop at least. If his suspension is original stock he may be at that height right now. When I upgraded my suspension I went with 1" lower springs and didn't see a major drop but I still have plenty of clearance to drop another ".
