im not sure which year you could find them in. if they are ford injectors you can identify them by the color. the 19's should be blue and the 24's are white. the other thing is you will have to recalibrate your maf for those injectors. i would guess the trucks they come out of would be the same years as the fox with the 351 blocks in them.

That's not correct. Here's the color code

19's - Orange
24's- light blue
30's- Red
36's- Dark blue
38's are Lucas only and are black
42's- Lime Green

Hope this helps.

vinnietbird, great tip men, wich taurus model? wich engine the 3.0 or the 3.8?

2000xp8, im going to install the 24 lbs injectors because im making my own home made cobra version, GT-40 intake, GT-40 heads, 65mm TB, 70mm MAf, so the nex steep to complete the same set up as the cobra will be the 24lbs injectors.

That setup really doesn't need 24lb injectors.
Since you're on a budget, i wouldn't buy stuff you really don't need.

I don't think he's asking what it needs, he wants 24#s out of a junkyard, it's a good question, and I doubt 24# inj. Are gonna hurt anything

Lincoln Mark 8's are the easy target.

I used to go to junkyards, and buy them for $10-20, and then toss them on ebay and sell them for $100+! Easy profit.

Junkyard near me has like 4 new ones. $400+ easy of profit for me right there

Yes, you'll need a stock MAF and 24# injectors to run a Cobra ECU.

There is no reason to "upgrade" to a cobra ECU other than having a way to run 24's.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

honestly I would spend the money elsewhere. At least get an A/F guage first and when you lean out then spring for the 24's.

I second that 24's are hardly needed for your setup. Considering the cost of a MAF... Good one like Pro-M you are better off spending the money elseware.
