I know that the 03/04 cobras had 275's on the front and they don't have any issues but I have been told that the steering racks are different than the GT's. Does anyone have 275/35/18 on 18x9's on the front and if so do you have any issues?

03 Cobra's have a 17" wheel, not 18". I have ran 275's up front with no issues on 17" wheels but I don't know about 18's.

I am running 275/35/18s on a set of 18x9 Saleen rims on my 04 GT lowered with FRPP C springs, and I have no issues or rubbing at all.

how the hell do you manage that?

dont see a problem with 275/35/18s except for the tracking.

wooops, yeah that would be amazing.

The only real tracking problems I have is if the road has some deep ruts in it from the big rigs. Other than that, its not bad.

I been running 275/35/18's front and rear for years with no problems. The only rubbing I have is the wheels hitting my steeda front swaybar when I cut the wheel the whole way.

I also have 275/35/18 up front. I get a very little rubbing at full lock, but i don't often turn that hard anyway. I only have 275/35's because they came with the rims i bought used. I probably would have gone with 265's if i had bought the tires, i don't really see any benefit to having the slightly bigger tires in the front.
