Kumho Ecsta's have been great for me but I never go to the track, decent price(prob cheaper than the mentioned above), great tread wear....my 2 cents

I've been running the 555 DR on my daily driver for a few months - love them. They grab noticably better than my Sumitomo HTRZII+ 245/45/17s in the rain. Don't grab worth crap when the tire is cold (eg car first started).

Love them.

Wes

P.S. Went through discounttiredirect.com for the Nittos.

just dont get Sumitomo HTR-Z's. They suck. I have 315's and they are some really bad tires. But they are dirt cheap.

BFG G-force Sports. They grip really good and are decent in the rain. They have rim protectors so you don't curb your wheels easily. I have the 245/45ZR17s on all four corners on the stock tri-bars.

I have the G-force sports as well on the front, 275's. I have no complains about them and have heard good things about them. Supposedly they use the same compound used on the BFGoodrich KD's.

+1 tirerack...Although my local firestone dealer matches tirerack's prices... So, you might want to check with your local tire dealers to see if they will price match.

+2 for Tire Rack as well.

I've used them many times and the tires are always in perfect shape. Best prices and by far the best selection.

My local tire places are expensive, except for some that have brands I've never heard of.

Just stay away from the stock Goodyear tires. Summitomo's will do OK, but treadwear is very low. No need to buy the most expensive tires, cause there are plenty other that have been mentioned that have better than average traction in rain/dry AND also have a decent treadwear rating.

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
