I am pleased to announce the 27th Annual Mid-Atlantic Car Show. This year our show will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Chesapeake City Park, in Chesapeake, VA. The show is open to all makes and models of vehicles – cars, trucks, and motorcycles! The show is sponsored by Mustang Club of Tidewater. Our sponsor Ford dealership is Cavalier Ford in Chesapeake.
Car show proceeds will benefit the following charities in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia:
Children’s Miracle Network Breast Cancer Research Oasis Food Bank
We expect 150+ vehicles in the show and approximately 1000 guests to the show.
Each year, we solicit area businesses for donated articles appropriate for raffling/door prizes (gift certificates, merchandise, services, etc.), and smaller promotional items (catalogs, flyers, pens, pencils, decals, key chains, etc.) to go into the "goody bags" we provide to each entrant. These have proven to be successful advertisement for your business by getting you business’s products and name in the forefront of the participants and spectators. We ask for your consideration in participating this year with us in our car show’s success by a donation of prize material. We also have opportunities to sponsor show classes/trophies as well. I can provide details if interested.
In return, our announcer acknowledges all business’s and organizations who help us several times during the show, plus we will place your advertisement into our show book published for the show. Also, we post a list of all participating companies and organizations in conspicuous locations. If you would like to provide a company logo or banner along with your donation, we will post it at our headquarters shelter as well.
Please ship any donations, goody bag stuffers, advertisements, etc. that you can provide to the following address by August 3, 2007.
