Has anyone machined the stock heads to accept the 2.02 and 1.60 valves? Can it be safely done? Im just wondering if its cheaper to have the originals ported, polished, and 3 angled, or just buy a whole new set already done like AFR, world products or even roush?

I had mine dont and I have 2.01 and 1.6 stainless swirl polished *cough chevy *cough valves put in and they barely fit. at the same time I had it ported and all that good stuff. I had to go with the taller valves because my cam lift was to great and I kept breaking rocker arms. so it can be done it was not really cheap and I would suggest looking around because you can find after market aluminum or reworked cast heads already done for about the same as having it custom built.

my 2 cents

That's good advice.....you may just want to get a good set of aluminum heads.
