289 in a mustang ll?

I have a spare 289 with a C4 I removed from a 67 Cougar. What modifications would I have to make to install it in a 75 Mustang ll? The car has a 2.3 L right now.

All the same changes you would need for a 302. Including ,but not limited to: Frame mounts,motor mounts,oil pan, exhaust manifolds,radiator,transmission bell and converter,wiring harness?,(alternator), belts ,hoses,etc.etc.

The engine will go in as a package, the oil pan may be tight and require some work.

All 3 mounts.

Longer drive shaft.

Replace the light duty rear.

Probably a few other things.
