I just bought another Stang.

The motor is supposed to run but it is missing plug wires. Does anyone know where I can get a diagram so that I know which wire plugs into which plug on the distributor?

Its a C code engine (289 2V)

Thanks

the dist doesnt care about the firing order, it lights the wires off in sequence as the rotor spins. Just make sure the rotor is pointing to the #1 cyl at TDC, set that wire, then install the remaining wires in the 289/302 firing order. Once it cranks, your timing will likely be waaaay off so adjust timing from there.

Make sure the #1 piston is topped out on the compression stroke, else you'll be 180 out.

It's the front passenger side. They are numbered 1 2 3 4 from front to back along the passenger side, and 5 6 7 8 from front to back along the driver side.
