2nd gear lagging but not bogging

i find my car has been dragging butt in 2nd gear for some reason. someone told me that it sounds like one of my chamber in mufflers might have a hole in it. I was also thinking maybe my x-pipe is backing out and i might have a slight exhaust leak, but would that cause 2nd to drag?

I don't think it could be my plugs i have 38,000 miles on an 03. I do drive a lot.

Any suggesstion?

it was a gradual thing, it could also be maybe i am just getting used of my mods.
