Is there a place on the Performer lower where you could install a aftermarket temp sensor?

Thanks

I believe there is. I think that there is one hole that gets plugged so you can probably use that one. Where it is? I forget.

I asked about this a few weeks ago, and the consensus was that the rear holes are not as accurate as the front one. There is a FRPP thermostat housing/neck that has a tapped hole for another temp sender. The sender needs to be in the flow of water for a accurate reading.

Here's the thread that I was refering to -

Perhaps an acceptable solution is to put the aftermarket sender in the stock location, and then put the factory one in the rear. That will at least allow the stock gauge to work, just read the temp off of the aftermarket gauge.
