You'd be nuts not to get a tune IMO.

thats what i thought to!!! but i had a couple people tellin me that the zex kit was created for a stock tune....i was like hummm that does not sound true at all lol, but seein as how i know nothin about nitrous i thought id ask........they also told me 24# injectors would be useless, even though i have a full CAI and 65mm dual t/b

Your car should have 24# injectors stock.

NX also claims you don't "need" a tune for a 100 shot, but if you can afford it, it's the safe way to go as long as you have a competent tuner.

You will be fine without the tune. NX and most other companies designed the kit so you wouldn't need to tune the car. However, it's always nice to have a wideband AFR.

You don't HAVE to tune it, but of course a tune couldn't hurt and would probably help. If you don't exceed the 100hp shot, install 1 step colder plugs gapped at .035-.042, run with a full tank of 93 octane, and replace your fuel filter maybe every 10k or 15k miles, you should be fine. Also a window switch would be a good investment.

A tune will always help bring out the full potential of the spray but is not a must on a 100 shot. I have run spray on 2 of my cars, never had a tune, never had a problem.

You need a plug that is two steps colder to prevent detonation. You can use NGK TR-6 plugs.

I have this same zex kit on my car. It is set up for a 100 shot. I had it tuned. It's the only to way to be safe. I am running tr6's and the stock fuel pump is maxed out on just 100 shot. So I do recomend the tune and don't recomend anymore spray without an SVT fuel pump.
