Anyone else get the June MMFF and see that custom 2V Intake. That thing is huge!!! Kinda looks like a Pontoon Boat Flotation support. It did gain some HP on a built 2V...something like 40BHP.

wow nobody has seen this yet? I thought you 2V NA guys would be salivating over this 490hp combo (engine dyno)

well we have been waiting for intakes...lets some pics of this thing. what all was done to the engine? high compression?

yes its a full out NA 2V, TEA ST3 Heads/Cams...electric water pump, no accessories,etc ...the intake is similar to some i've seen on 5.0 turbo cars (custom) I don't have a scanner so i guess you will just have to wait until your mags come in the mail. Maybe mine came early this month?

custom made by MMFF i believe, i think this is the intake they were talking about in the RHSC series.

The shortblock is a CHP stroker with Flat Tops and the cams are comp 278ah's. Comp is like 11.6 ish.

so if the motor is all built and it only making 20 hp then its no better then the other intake everybody trashed because it was only making 23hp on a built up motor. same ****.

Yeah, I got my MM&FF in the mail today..

And yes its is huge lol
Dyno run with the PI intake (modded motor cam ect) was 426hp/427tq
Dyno run with the custom intake ( same motor) was 490hp/441tq
This is also an engine dyno.

HP Perfomace made the intake www.hpturbos.com <-- per MM&FF
On the engine it has p&p heads, XE278AH cams,twin Accufab 75mm,and flat-top pistons with CR of 11.68:1
I think thats it...good article!

They also said they might produce the intake, and make it to fit under the stock GT hood...

^Nice, but if it was made to run on pump gas, lower CR and full accessorys, ect(to make it a true streetable car. AC is debatable i guess). Im pretty sure it would go -400RWHP or right at it. I have heared that 1 point of compression is worth 20HP (just what I heard, dont take that to the bank) .

Thats still VERY impressive though!!!!!!!!!!! Means that 400RWHP out of a N/A 2V is possable...im sure someone is working on it.

forget streetable, just getting that kind of strip power is impressive. give it as high C/R as possible with racing gas.
