2v to 4v motor swap question

Can a GT computer be reflashed to run a 4v cobra motor? If so, is a Ford dealer the only place that can reflash it for me? Any other tips or ideas are much appreciated. Thanks for the help!

any SCT tuner can take care of that for you. I am using my GT PCM with the 32v motor.

SCT Tuner Questions

Thanks for the help. Which SCT Tuner do you use? And I just want to make sure I understand this right..........I can use the SCT tuner to flash and reprogram my current GT computer so it runs the 32 valve motor. Then I can take the car to a tuner and have it Dyno-tuned so it's running at it's optimum settings. Does that sound about right? Am I missing anything?

no, I meant any tuner who uses SCT. I have never used a hand held, but I am pretty sure it wont work. I know I was able to start my car with my stock PCM and get it to my tuner where he did the rest.
