I noticed that my drivers side front tire was wearing on the inside so I took my Mustang to have the alignment checked and the tech at the place came to me to let me know that the pinion seal was leaking oil. Damn!!!! Took it back to the Ford dealership.

You could always just buy a loaded center section from ford racing. they are pre setup up from the factory using the same OEM specs. Just bolt it in and add fluid. If you do it yourself, it will save you some coin over what you were quoted.

And they have to drop the center section to regear anyway, so why not just buy a preloaded one and swap it in, save time and money.
