I am getting ready to install a set of 3.55 gears in my mostly stock '95, but I don't understand exactly what I need to get the speedo to read correctly. The steeda and late model resto sites say that the white speedo gear will correct for the 3.55 final drive on an SN95 t5. But it also says that the white gear is good for 3.73 or 4.11's. Is this wrong? How can one gear work accurately for that wide a range. Someone recently told me that I willl probably have to pull the tailshaft housing off the trans and change the drive gear to a 6 tooth like the older t5's. Has anyone done this successfully without opening up that trans? Thanks, Mike
