ok im going to be getting 3.73 gears before long and Im going to purchase the install kit but which should i get. I can either get the bearing kit which includes Front & Rear Pinion Bearing
Pinion Seal
Carrier Bearings
Carrier Shims
Differential Bearings
Crush Sleeve
Pinion Nut
Cover Gasket
Ring Gear Bolts
Brush
Gear Marking Compound
Loctite

or i can go with the install kit which includes
Pinion Seal
Carrier Shims
Crush Sleeve
Pinion Nut
Cover Gasket
Ring Gear Bolts
Brush
Gear Marking Compound
Loctite

The difference is 40 dollars would you recommend getting the bearing kit my car only has 18k on the clock but i was thinking about getting it anyways just so i dont have to do it down the road for some reason. What do you guys think?

Are you kidding me im pretty good at working on my car but i dunno if im ready for doing a gear install just yet heck i wouldnt even know where to start. If i had experience on someone elses car first then sure i would attempt it on mine i just dont wanna mess up my rear end lol.

The shop will know what they need and if you supply them with parts you will be cutting them out of some of their profits. Why bother?

Get FRPP gears, and all new bearings. Pinion and carrier (+ the races for the bearings of course, often called "cups").

well since it only has 18K if the bearings look messed up then yeah i would have them replaced otherwise they are still good to go..... but the shop that is going to do them should be able to tell you, that is if its a reputable shop

and FRPP gears FTW
