3.73 or 4.10 gears???

Which is better for a everyday driver not worried about gas mileage and like street racing.........

What about traction i heard with 4.10's it is hard to hook??

Are you going to be adding a blower to your already stroked motor? I'd say 3.73's. You need to post some pics of this beast you are building.

hopefully i can see this thread another 10 times today. I'd like to start a petition to get rid of these darn gear threads. They are useless.

i agree...they need a FAQ forum like other boards have with stickies for gears, shifters, CAI, springs...ETC.

that would eliminate all these redundant posts...


BTW - 3.73 with a power adder and 4.10 n/a

if you think gears will make traction an issue, buy some slicks

Dude chill out. I was merely saying that no matter what stickies are here you will still get these threads. The only way is for the tech forum to supervised with an iron fist like the depot. I agree that there should be one thread stickied about gears and all other what gears to get threads need to be closed and deleted.

Put 3.73s in my 2004 GT automatic.

Drove a 4.10 equipped car.....felt like too much for a street car.

The 3.73s made a big difference in acceleration.

I used Ford racing gears.

FYI

i went from 2.73 to 3.73 and WOW! I'm content with my 3.73...i have t-45 btw
