Hello everyone!

Just wanted some feedback to help me decide what rear end to get. I have a 94 GT AUTO with a stock gear and wanted to upgrade to either a 3.73 or 4.10
I do mixed city and highway driving. I really want a good pull but dont want my car to whine like crazy. Anyone with a 3.73 or 4.10 please respond :nice:. Thanks a lot!

It sounds like you are concerned about turning too high of an rpm at highway speeds

Generally speaking .........
Most say go 373's with stick and 410's with auto and I'd agree when
talking street cars

However

Opinions can be very untrustworthy :(

So ... why not use a method to gather your data which will be fixed
and not open to discussion :nice:

Simply put it is basic math :)

Get the auto trans highway gear ratio and use one of those gear to
highway speed programs you can find all over the net to tell you your
rpm at a certain speed when using your chosen gear ratio

Here is one I Googled up for you that should help :D
btw ... I used keywords ... gear to highway speed calculator

What?

I say 4.10's. As they used to say on here "don't fear the gear" lol
