I dont think so. You have to try n figure out what you would top out at on the course. I think it would work good for road course and auto-x. I just bought a 3.73 gear set for my 85 GT. It will see road course racing and some auto-x.
if your talking about track racing, then i would say, thats too short. your motor would be getting a little hot from being at high revs alot. i had this problem myslef.
