if i bought this : http://www.dndmotorsports.com/?page...category_id=6834dda8e3e6e5aa18bafc63a57fd04a&
could i just take the cam, lifters, and pushrods out of my 302 and throw them in? or would i need to change it. I just got a tfs stg1 cam, pushrods and lifters 6 months ago and dont really want to buy new stuff again if i dont have to.

The only problem you would have would be if the block was not a 'roller' block.
Roller blocks were produced after 92, and will be marked as 'F4TE'

Call D&D to make sure that the engine they send you is a roller block.

You would definitely have to measure and most likely buy new pushrods. Also I am not a fan of used lifters no matter how "new" they are. Once they are installed and then removed, new ones always go in. You don't wanna do these things twice.

If it's not a roller block (and I doubt it is) you'll either need different lifters or a small base circle cam. Why would you want to put a TFS1 in a 408 anyway? Then again, why do you need a forged crank in a stock block?

If it were me, I'd just buy a Scat 408 rotating assembly for $1100-1200, buy a $50-100 block and have the machine work done yourself. You should be able to save some money that way.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
