New here, gathering some mustang tech info for my '86 build. I am looking for the approximate distance from the back of a 302 mustang block(bellhousing mounting surface) to the flywheel face(clutch mounting surface). If anyone has a short block out of the car with a flywheel, a flat bar or edge can be placed across the flywheel and the distance measured to the block surface. This is for a custom swap for which i have an adapter plate and ill need to space the custom flywheel from the crank to maintain proper starter engagement using a mustang starter and tko600.
