302 rebuild

i have a 302 block thats in good shape and a 331 dss stroker kit. I am wondering how much its going to cost to get the Block machined for the kit.

300 dollars should be close for the works. That includes balancing the engine.

You pay nice rates for machining where you live.

I paid closer to 900.00 for;
Shake and Bake
Sonic checked
Magna fluxed
Square decked to "0"
Bore
Hone to piston specs
Align hone mains
screw in plugs
I provided the bearings

Balancing the rotating assembly not included.

That sounds more like it. I was gonna do my 351W to a 408 and from begining to complete the machining was about 1G. peace
