If you can't tune a carb you need to either learn or swap to EFI.
Fat idle is Ok to a point, pig rich at idle needs is the first thing you tackle.

I was told that is as good as it gets to not have drive ability issues, I am unable to do it myself.
That's why I wanted to try 1 range hotter on the plugs.

Could you try another tuner in your area, or are you dedicated to your guy? I mean, a second opinion never hurt right?

I think you are right a second opinion never hurts. would be nice to get it corrected.
