For those of you that have a 67/68 Mustang with 289/302 and T5 trans with headers?

If you do, what headers are you using? What brand? what part number? Do they interfere with a cable clutch?

I am trying to gather my last needed parts to fire up the engine.

I have all of the above.

I have a no-name set of longtubes. One of the primaries interfered with the cable clutch...I cut it and rewelded it to clear. Took about an hour, total.

I can take some pics of the result and send them if it would help.

Please send them to ersingleton # gmail dot com. That would be appreciated. What I am really looking for is brands that work out of the box. DOes anybody make a ceramic coated long tube header with o2 bungs already installed?

Hello
i got exactly your set up. I use hooker competition long tubes
ceramic coated (no O2 bungs). But they don´t work with cable clutch.
I have a lot of pictures from the swap on my homepage.

Hooker Super comps are supposed to work the best with a cable clutch, because they have a gap in the middle I hear for it to pass right through.
