I have a 302 in my 68. The only thing that has been done to it (to my knowledge) is a beefed up cam. The car seems to cut out from time to time and I thought it was going to be another carb issue, but my neighbor put his timing light on it and it read 10 deg. He's a Chevy guy and said that was too much for a Chevy, but wasn't sure about the Ford 302. He thinks 10 deg of timing may be too much and that is what's causing the car to cut out. Any advice here? Thanks in advance.
