Starting out with a 306 with forged Speed Pro pistons. Along with Trick Flow heat heads, stage 1 cam, track heat intake. I worked at this by comming home from college on the weekends for almost all of October. Its running good now, Timing is set at 10 deg. but for some reason i'm idleing at 1500 so maybe a chip will fix that once I get some money. Its also got a Trick Flow Spray bar for my nitrous. I put 100 shot jets in. Hoping for at least mid-12s.

Heres my car its going in.

All empty..

Almost Done.. I ment to take more pictures during the buildup process but just got kind of carried away.

Finally Done..

Nice!!!! you defitnetly need a tune. Since you installed a new T/B you need to adjust your idle. Looks bad, and yes blck is the faster color of them all!!!lol

Thanks for the link for the idleing, i'll check on that today and see if it helps. Part of me thinks i may have a vacuum leak

it stays pretty consistant right around 1400 at idle. ill go play with the throttle body in a few mins and see what I can do. What should it be? Around 8-900?

I dont remember the part #.. i got it from Summit. There are 2 to choose from, its for the track street/heat intakes. I put 100 shot jets in it. It came with everything from 50-300 jets in 50 shot increments.
