When upgrading to a 31 spline rear end setup, it is OK to use the trac lock/diff from a Ford Explorer? They seem to be much cheaper than aftermarket ones, but do you lose something there? This would be a for a slightly modded/a few-runs-a month-at-the-track car. The car will probably only see 12s at the best during its life with me.
