Those heads have been around forever. He wasn't the first one to make them either. The first company went out of business, and then Arao took over the design. They didn't even out perform the high end 2 valve heads at the time, so it was pretty much just an engineering exercise. For the record, if all you want is Coyote power, then there are plenty of 2 valve heads that will get you there.

I just found a video on youtube (looks like a old video) of a company called Arao engineering that makes a 32 valve head for the sbf. Has anyone heard of this and how come its not catching on. Its seems like the performance gain would be alot compared to any aftermarket 2 valve head.

Hi, saddly the issues with this company have become a gong show online, its a shame as the head design is good that was originaly modeled after the Weslake 4 valve heads.

There where 2 diffrent companys that supplyed/sold these heads, i have a few sets of the cheaper 4grand Dominion Performance versions from Hal Carlson and i am planning to make my own version modeled after the original billet version. for those interested i posted more info on my CB-4V design here...

& here is a link to the original weslake design...

Might as well just go pull a 4.6 out of a Lincoln MK VIII, if 4 camshafts is your main goal.

Wow, my daughter was 3 when this thread was active! Man time flies

And isn’t the consensus at this point just coyote swap, boost and be done if you want 1000 RWHP?
